Okay guys, I am sure we all know that 2017 was FULL of amazing releases! The third installment of the Red Queen series, the third book to the ACOTAR series, the second of the Frost Blood saga, Caraval, The Glass Spare, and (OH MY GOSH) I could just keep going! However, that means that this year is going to be packed with the continuations of these blessed series. (Praise the book gods)
Night Blood, the third and finale installment of the Frost Blood series by Elly Blake. I am really looking forward to this book because I am extremely interested in how she is going to mold this story. How is Ruby going to rule, take down this powerful deity, and stop the Minax before they devour everyone??? Also, with Ruby and Arcus pit against each other by their courts, life is not giving them a brake, is it? Please Elly Blake, I am begging you, I need this ship to sail and not crash and burn! (still leaving out hope Maven redeems himself so that he and Mare end up together- Red Queen series)
“There is always light in the darkness. It may only be a pinpoint, but it is there.”
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas. Here is my current excitement level for this novella masterpiece: HOLY COW WHY IN THE WORLD CAN THIS NOT BE OUT RIGHT NOW SO THAT I CAN READ IT AND BE HAPPY WITH MY LIFE? And that is all I have to say about that. (Did you read that in Forrest Gump’s voice? Good.)
“Don’t feel bad for one moment about doing what brings you joy.”
My most anticipated is without a doubt, War Storm by Victoria Aveyard, the final book in the Red Queen series. This beautiful series of books is about a girl, Mare, who grew up in the Stilts; a place of poverty. That is until circumstances come to light where she is now placed in the Silver Palace, serving the ones she hates most. To the Sliver elite, she is nothing but a red-blooded commoner. Life is like that for those who are born with Red blood. It is the ones born with Silver blood that have the god-like abilities and the power in this world. However, all of that is scrambled when Mare discovers that she also has an ability of her own. Now she has the chance to take out the Silver elite from the inside; helping the Red Guard as she also battles with her self and her heart. (HOW FREAKING COOL DOES THAT SOUND?) If you have not started this series, I seriously cannot suggest it enough!
“You don’t see us, and so we are everywhere. And we will rise up, Red as the dawn.”
Thank you guys SO much, please let me know what books you are looking forward to in the comments!
